So this is it...
In 12 hrs time, I'm embarking on a journey to the other side of the World.
It is going to be my first time visiting the States so I'm a little apprehensive about how exactly I'm going to spend the next three months there independently without the parents but I'm going to brace myself up for the best. Then again, I also have two friends going to the same place so it isn't going to be so bad, is it?
The last few days have been quiet and peaceful. Hung out with groups of friends I am going to cherish for the rest of my life. You people know who you are, and I'm still going to say that even when I know most of you may not read it anyways. The family has been great too, they've been giving in to my every need and want, from food craving in the middle of the night to driving me to places which I wanna see for the last time before I leave. I love you Dad, I love you Mom.
Thanks for the well-wishes from friends most of whom I was unable to reply in time to - I was busy packing my luggage the whole damn day. To anyone who wants to reach me can e-mail me using my MSN addy (if you don't have it, it's XXX@gmail.com where XXX stands for my real name) or just visit Facebook and write on my wall - I'll reply when I'm free. Updates on this blog is also possible if I manage to find a good Internet connection down there. Take note however I'm not bringing laptop OR handphone so please do NOT sms unnecessarily.
Today, I went for my last Supper in Singapore before I depart. Best friend treated me to a sumptouous Chinese Fried Rice with Strawberry Green Tea. Bubble tea leh! Can find in US? I dunno for sure but I'm not going to take risks!

Last ever bubble tea in Singapore. Sweet talk bubble tea for SGD1 each, can you believe it? Even aunty see I leaving then gimme discount.

Chinese-style fried rice. I thought it tasted a bit salty and attributed the weird taste to the uncle's tears while he was preparing my last meal in SG.
I'm so going to miss my room.
It may not be the cleanest room ever, nor is it the biggest one too, but the fact is it IS my room and I love it. Slept in it for as long as I can remember, spent my most private moments here (being emo and depressed and also frustrated among other things), it is THE place I'm going to treasure the most when I'm not in SG.
You've been reminded that it is not clean.
It is gd to note though that it is already cleaner than usual.

My laptop and desk.

My wonderful bed which has served me since Junior College.

My messy tops all over the place (I was still busy packing!)
When I feel like I'm missing home so bad, I'd give Mom a call and go online to see these pictures again. Perhaps my homesickness may recover temporarily.
So... this is IT. The time has come for me to bid the final goodbye here. I would really love to pen this entry til' the cows come home but I figure the cows need sleep too.
Take care people, I'll be back before you know it.
