Time for a Change
I was actually watching Next Door Neighbour's Election Results on TV this morning instead of attempting my assignment. I know! What a thing to do! It isn't going to affect me ever anyway! But I like to watch it can?
Since the 1999 Elections, opposition came up with pretty strong support from the people. This year they emerged stronger than ever. My friend who was originally from Next Door Neighbour changed her nick to this: 'Change is the new constant.' And that's because she came from a very important state in Next Door Neighbour - The Island State. Opposition forces even penetrated NDN's southernmost state in the Peninsula which was thought to be the impenetrable stronghold of the Coalition Forces. Just beside us can?
Anyway, it's good that the major reshuffling in the parliament is actually taking place, it shows that the voices of the people are being heard, and they still do matter. It beats having the monotony of seeing the SAME election results for the past 40-odd years since independence and still seeing it in my generation.
