Annoying Ah Soh

2nd update in a day... I must be mad!

3 papers down, one more to go! Very forward-looking.

This morning I went to school by train as usual and there was this ah soh sitting in front of me. After she looked at me from head to toe (refer to two entries before about how much I hate people doing that) she went to stare at the girl beside her! And when I say stare, I mean look at her from head to toe machiam doing some kind of body analysis. I figure she'd make a good body check up nurse but I'm afraid she's just too old for that.

Anyone who took trains before would know how obvious that would be. It's not easy to stare at the person beside you without looking too obvious right? And she did it a couple of times. Even I who was sitting in front of her trying to read my notes for my exams couldn't stand what she was doing.

The girl went off at Simei and an Indonesian lady came by and sat beside her. Again, she did the same thing. So bloody kaypoh!

Then hor, got an ah neh finally sat beside her at Redhill or Tiong Bahru. By then she was already asleep so she wasn't doing the staring thingy. Ah neh also fell asleep and dozed off towards her and his shoulders sorta touched hers. She woke up, saw whatever was happening, gave a black face, moved her upper body forward so that ah neh would wake up before he 'fell' towards her. Then she gave the ah neh a super bu shuang face and gave a loud tsk.

Haha she deserved it!

I just realised...

... my running shoes are shining (shimmering splendid) above all the shoes in the rack. And that can only mean one thing - I have not been using them!

I need to start my exercise regime again. My friends and I think we'd all grow fat in NY because the people there are usually bigger sized than us Asians and we'd probably think it is okay to eat more since we're not any bigger than them.

I need to burn some fats.

Not so Fwd Looking...

I have this habit of walking to the train door nearest to the escalator when the train stops at Pasir Ris because I want to avoid the crowds and get out of the MRT station asap. I bloody hate slow-walking people and somehow wish I could slap each one of them so that they'd go faster.

So today was no exception. I walked towards the door, got out of the train and was the first to descend the escalator. From the corner of my eye, I could see this man in blue carrying something blue coming out of the train a few doors away from the one I came out from but I did not really take notice of him because he's probably just like me wanting to get out of the train station asap.

I reached the interchange and queued up for the bus. And then as I sat at the stone slab waiting, I turned to my right and noticed the man in blue earlier was just behind me. And it was then that I noticed him more than before. He's buffed up, wore a tight piece of cloth deemed as a top and he was carrying a Everlast black handbag with gold prints on his shoulder.

Eeerrrmmmm okayyyyy... So I went on to stone while waiting for the bus. And then somehow from the corner of my eye, I could sense him looking directly at me. I turned to look, and indeed he WAS looking at me. I turned away not knowing why but at that time, he was still staring in my direction.

I hate people staring at me watching my every move (and that includes during train rides) and I always STARE back at them making them super uncomfortable because by then they wouldn't know where to look at and sometimes they'd look in my direction to see whether or not I am still looking at them (and most of the time I am).

But this time! I got so freaked out by his metrosexual tendencies (or perhaps homo) I didn't have the balls to look back. His biceps were huge baybeh, I can K.O anytime!!!

And the next thing I knew, he was adjusting his freaking zipper in front of me. And the zipper had a fucking key chain thingy which dangled and made that tingling sound whenever he touched his down there. OMG.

Pasir Ris Intchg had stone slabs for passengers to sit on while waiting for buses but instead of sitting on it (like how most people would including me since I was dead tired from the train ride from Clementi), he chose to stand and face me and perform his 'thang'.

When the bus came, I quickly got up and chose a seat. He waked past and sat BEHIND ME. I had a feeling he was going to sit beside me but thank god he didn't.

I am so disgusted.

Being forward-looking.

Updates for the week.

1) Filtration and sedimentation formulae aside, friends and I have sorta come up with a very powerful differential equation to describe the most important period of the semester: Exams.

Photobucket

This is because examiners would usually interpret blank scripts as “WA STUDENTS DUNNO HOW TO DO” rather than “OH MUST BE LACK OF TIME”. Unfortunately, either way, submitting blank scripts will usually = being stupid.

I. Can't. Believe. I. Bothered. To. Type. That. Using. Microsoft. Equation

2) Being forward-looking is to say YAY after one paper is down, despite having three more papers to sit for. I have one more on Monday, and Tuesday and the following Monday. I need LOTS of revision for the last paper: that 5 days or so in between is MUCH NEEDED. But being forward-looking is the way to go! Yay three more papers to go.

3) Staying over in school to study. Woohoo steam! But very productive if you have enuff sleep the day before, you bring tons of food to ton with you, and...

a few cups of iced mocha tabao from Olive Cove.

Sidetrack, the other day I drank three cups of iced mocha and ended up vomitting it out. Warning: Too much iced mocha is bad.

Engin on a lonely Tuesday night was so quiet.

Don't go Central to study. You'd end up being distracted. Engineering is the way to go. Forward-looking!

I took the whole day (literally 24 hrs to finish up this gem of a cheat sheet. I better score well for the module.

Bumped into Ms Beautiful at Central (half the night I was pretty distracted because I ended up at Arts after supper at F0ngSeng.

Ms Beautiful was distracted all night by her whatever-his-name-is. OMG it is that bad - the guy is so insignificant I even forgot his name and what he looks like.

Caught a glimpse of the sunrise with Ms Beautiful outside Level 6.

All in all, staying over in school with the right company was productive enough for me. Way to go! Forward-looking.

6) Visited the new Downtown East the other day.

You bloody can't miss this. It is so distinguishable it can be a trademark. :)

The indoor ferris wheel which sounded pretty cool at first but seriously stupid and useless now. Erm do indoor and ferris wheel even go together?

My favourite pic of the trip!

It's a 5 (at most ten) minute walk from my place. I can watch many late night movies now without needing to worry about cabfares. :) Pasir Ris is the way to go. The not so good thing is I won't be ard for the next few months or so. The initial proposed/announced completion date was December 2007 can? Whatever it is, I'm catching a movie this Tuesday, looking forward to it despite still having one more paper a week later.

4) Facebook says I'd get married 17 years later. WTF by 40 I think my that one not as strong le! But won't be as jialat to the extent of requiring Weige! Having said that, I pity people named Wei and being addressed by as a big brother leh.

5) Mrs Obasanjo, I'm sorry you're last on this list. I don't think you've come to this far to read this pretty blog entry but if you have, congratulations. I have a premonition we won't meet in NY though. But I'll be forward looking as possible. I'm smelling NY already. Don't ask me what the smell is like. It's definitely not the smell of my fart. That said, I love my fart... and I think many people love it too!Looking forward to every farting moment! I don't know why Mrs Obasanjo and farting are combined into a single update, perhaps that's because I treasure her as much as I love my own fart?

;) Forward-looking!

Silly thoughts

I have a confession to make.

I don't feel good abt the upcoming trip to the States. I keep thinking my days are numbered. Is this what they call premonition?

Perhaps I'm just being too paranoid.

Can someone who reads this blog tell my mom and dad I love them very much should anything happen to me? Thanks.

The confirmed NYer

The past three whiny entries have been deleted.

The good news is I'm going to Hollywood New York afterall baybeh! It came in an e-mail the day before yesterday and I quickly rushed down to the Embassy to get it printed on-the-spot.

More news when I get back from breakfast + school with Mrs. Obasanjo who's leaving for the States tomorrow. I think it'd be weird not being able to see her for three whole months since our respective US programs crash machiam the SQOO6.

To a safe return for the both of us!

It's FOC

I can't believe it. Right now sitting on the table right in front is a box of hair dye.

Light Beige Blonde.

To do or not to do, that is the question.

Medium Blonde

To be able to release the grip off the 86-paged lab report today to the hands of the lab instructor was definitely THE MOMENT of the week. My weekend was completely burnt by this lab report but I was already mentally prep to finish it by the weekend no matter what. Needless to say, I think this lab module so doesn't deserve 2MCs - it is taking so much of my time.

Apart from that, I still have three projects uncleared (but finishing soon) and a presentation coming up on the last day of school. On the same day, I have a test in the morning and an assignment AND project report due in the afternoon before the presentation. And all of these will be happening exactly one week before the exams! I am so busy I can't even blog!

But today... it's mini freedom day because I've decided to give myself a break tomorrow and pon school and rest at home, though I have a feeling I may eventually find myself studying in the library without me even realising that I just said I'd rest. But even if I 'rest at home', it wil mean sit in front of the PC to finish watching webcasts. Must pia for exams if not cannot enjoy my Work and Travel. And speaking of which, it's one month and 4 days before I am scheduled to fly off and guess what! I have not received any news about my VISA. Tsk, the much dreaded four letter word.

Ranting ranting ranting, I initially wanted to post a lot of random pictures but now I've just realised I've already typed three long paragraphs of words before I could upload any photographs! My life now is so packed with school and thus not interesting enough for an entry, so I guess now showing pictures would be a better idea.

Lo, and behold ... Moth in Engineering!

The wings, with holes aplenty.

First two pics already so boring right? Huh...??? No human? Lifeless? Okay I show you human.

My cute niece posing for me. She loves taking fotos.

And her favourite line now is: "*inserts name*, doing what?" (direct translation)

A few weeks ago, my parents brought me to a wedding again!

If you think this was taken in a studio, you're so wrong.

It's at one of the multi-purpose halls in the neighbourhood of Tampines. The decor was a bit too much. And the whole place was so dark, even though it was midday!

I hope he (my dad's friend - who was the bride's daddy) doesn't read this.

This was what I saw when I looked up. Over of the over.

You want human, I give you see human...

Evidence that this was taken at the MPH.

Fattening is synonymous to this - my current fave ice cream - but I can't care less already!

It is really so delectable although I was never a big fan of vanilla. This was a huge exception. I love it.

Admist my ultra busy schedule, I went to stay over at a friend's place with another friend yesterday to finish up the assignment which was due today. Before that, the three of us dropped by a nearby shopping complex to purchase...

HAIRDYES!!!

I dyed my hair rose red apple a few weeks ago but the colour turned my brown hair black; the red was only visible in sunlight. A little irritated over the incident, I decided to buy a more potent color dye so that it'd be more visible.

My choice - Medium Blonde.

I can just hear people saying O.M.G in my head right now.

A proof of my purchase - even got the cashier's name summore.

It costs me S$12.90, so I guess it would be fine since the rose red apple one cost me half of that. (and hence explains the quality)

It actually took me quite some time to muster up the courage to buy blonde cos I've never thought of myself with super bright hair color. But my hair is the ultra stubborn kind!

Decided to go with it since my two friends were already so enthu about dyeing.

I was the professional dye-ist because the other two were, well, noobs to the max.

I had to be the last dyee because I gotta show the noobs how to dye before I can let them spoil my hair right? By the time the pic above was taken, both had already undergone professional dyeing cum shampooing cum washing services by me... and so I was leaving the fate of my hair in their hands, like LITERALLY!!!

Newspaper to cover the shirt plus tissue paper to cover the most probable part of the head to get stained - the back of the ears. Smart right, but the tissue papers did not do much help.

The dyeing process was painful. My hair was pulled machiam got signboard on a door that says PULL. Forgivable lah, noobs what right?

Want to see the end result??????

Woohoo... Medium blonde!!!

Please do not be too surprised.

d(hair color)/dt = 0

ARRRRGGHHHHHH S$12.90!!!

A certain HK singer-actress

Got this from wikipedia.org:

As her short hair grew longer, Nadia went through yet another metamorphosis in 1999. She officially changed her English name from Nadia to Nnadia. The added "n" was a self reminder to "never give up." It also symbolized "new."

... WTF!

Should I add another 'k' in my name to remind myself to be Kinder? or Kinkier?

On to other stuff, go surf Wikipedia if you're bored.

Just for the record, I realised today that apart from Kylie Minogue who was born in 1968, I share the same birthday as Jesse Bradford (American actor), Colbie Caillat (of 'Bubbly' fame), Jaslene Gonzalez (winner of America's Next Top Model Cycle 8) too! Colbie shares the same birthday with me in 1985! I think all May 28-born people are born to do great things in life.
