Street names

I miss blogging everyday. I used to do that in those days. Those days seem so distant now, I wonder why I am so busy, busy, busy now. To relive them, I am going to try and blog as often as I can, no matter how trivial the content of the entry will be.

I was sitting in a friend's car just now when I saw this rather unique street name somewhere in Bukit Timah. It's called:


Makepeace.

The Singapore's version is actually Road instead of Street. The name is so funny - it makes me believe that whichever "streetnamer" that was who named the road probably ran out of street names. Proper ones. If anyone bothers to observe some of the street names in Singapore, he will realise the names are just too random and so "anyhow". Oh I just checked the online street directory and the road beside Makepeace Road is Makeway Avenue!

Gian for blogging

The blog is super neglected.

I have this sudden craving for blogging. I'm serious. I haven't had this kind of excitement for blogging in... years. This blogging bug (Took me ten thousand years to think of this term now when I used it so regularly last time - I've clearly lost touch with the blogging world) might just fuel the beginning of a new blog with the same old me and the onset of a few exciting entries in the days to come!

Let me update about myself. And I shall just do it anyway even though I know I am most probably talking to myself here! No one reads this blog anymore but does it matter to me? No, it doesn't. A blog doesn't need an audience, it just needs a writer who has got tons of things to say.

My weekend has been pretty miserable. I miss a gathering on Friday night cos I needed to study for my exam this Tuesday. I spent my whole Saturday and Sunday in school to finish up studying. I am so glad I only have 2 examinable modules this semester. Life is surely going to get better after Tuesday!!!

I need to get the following when I get my pay next month.

1) Slippers. The white Havanaias (I hate spelling this word) which was a bday present gets dirty so easily and I am not willing to scrub them after putting them on for just a day. I swear, no more white slippers for the rest of my life.

2) Sneakers. Seems like I'm paying so much attention to the feet now. My pair of Levi's sneakers is tattered and torn. Not the cool kind of tattered and torn, but the kind with a big hole, and which looks like it belongs to the dumps. My feet size is UK10 by the way. :D

3) A trucker cap. I've been wanting this for the longest time. Just that I can't find one with a nice design. I will probably get this in Taiwan this July, I'm sure Taiwan has plenty of trucker cap shops.

Oh did I say that I am finally heading to TW this summer break?! It's a prelude to Grad Trip and I'm really looking forward to it because it's my first time travelling with a group of friends (don't count WAT - we had external agents to take care of us then) so I am soooooo damn excited!

Oh other things I need is: 1) Lose weight, keep fit 2) Tuition lobangs after exam to finance Grad Trip. Yes I am thinking so far ahead.

I gotta study for my last exam lah. Wondering if I will be fit for work later.

p/s: Oooh yes, this blog needs a damn revamp.

Spring Cleaning makes me a happy man.

When all the old clothes are gone, my cupboard is so organized. No worries about not finding the top I want to wear to work every morning!
